Onsite Healthcare Enterprise Architect to join our dedicated customer engagement team. This role is embedded within a strategic client environment in
Dallas, Texas, serving as a trusted advisor to the client's
CTO, and senior technology leadership team while helping shape and execute the organization's healthcare technology transformation strategy.
The successful candidate will represent Kyndryl
on-site with the client in Dallas, Texas and will work closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, clinical leaders, and technical teams to translate business objectives into scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that deliver measurable business value. As a senior advisor to the CTO, you will provide strategic guidance on technology investments, architecture direction, modernization initiatives, operating models, and emerging technologies while ensuring alignment between clinical, operational, and technology priorities.
As the
Onsite Healthcare Enterprise Architect, you will lead the development of technology strategies, reference architectures, and solution roadmaps that align with the client's business priorities, clinical operations, and technology landscape. Rather than developing proprietary platforms, Kyndryl serves as a trusted consultant, systems integrator, and orchestrator, helping clients evaluate, select, and integrate industry-leading technologies from hyperscalers, enterprise software providers, healthcare technology vendors, and emerging innovators. You will guide architectural decisions that maximize innovation while maintaining security, governance, scalability, and operational excellence across healthcare delivery environments.
Working as part of an existing client-facing account team, you will collaborate with client executives, enterprise architects, clinical and operational leaders, data teams, cybersecurity professionals, application owners, and infrastructure specialists to identify high-value technology and transformation opportunities. You will facilitate executive strategy sessions and discovery workshops, assess technology readiness, define target-state architectures and roadmaps, and oversee the integration of new capabilities into existing enterprise environments. Success in this role requires balancing strategic vision with practical execution while building trusted relationships across executive, business, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in enterprise architecture, healthcare technology platforms, cloud computing, data architecture, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and modern integration patterns. Required experience includes deep familiarity with healthcare provider and hospital technology ecosystems, including Epic and Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR environments, clinical systems, revenue cycle applications, healthcare interoperability frameworks such as HL7 and FHIR, healthcare data and analytics platforms, medical imaging and ancillary systems, and digital patient engagement solutions. Experience working with major hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as leading healthcare and enterprise technology ecosystems, is essential. The successful candidate must be capable of engaging credibly with CIOs, CTOs, clinical leaders, and enterprise architects while providing strategic recommendations and leading complex technology transformation initiatives within healthcare delivery organizations.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 20 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology consulting.
- Demonstrated experience developing AI or machine learning strategies for enterprise organizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience integrating multiple technology vendors into cohesive enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, integration patterns, APIs, data architecture, cybersecurity, and governance.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive audiences.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience• TOGAF expertise and certifications
• Experience with various IT Operating Models and building organizations to deploy and support key technologies
• Advanced certification on key technologies within your platform or area of expertise
• Ability to articulate key technologies' impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc.
• Experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum)
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $179,760 to $341,520based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California (San Francisco Bay Area): $215,640 to $409,800
California (All Other): $197,640 to $375,600
Colorado: $179,760 to $341,520
Massachusetts $179,760 to $375,600
New York City: $215,640 to $409,800
Washington: $197,640 to $375,600
Washington DC: $197,640 to $375,600
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
