Position Title: Family Medicine Physician (FM with OB/GYN Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking two dedicated Family Medicine Physicians with strong OB/GYN experience to join an integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality primary care to local residents and vulnerable, historically underserved populations. Healthcare here is approached through a lens of dignity, equity, and whole-person wellness-focusing not just on managing illness, but on significantly improving overall quality of life.

Please Note: This role requires a Family Medicine Physician comfortable with full-spectrum care, including routine OB/GYN and prenatal care. It is not suitable for dedicated OB/GYN specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Primary Care: Provide outpatient primary care across the full lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and prenatal/postpartum care.
  • Procedures & Reproductive Health: Perform routine in-office procedures and place Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). Deliver patient-centered reproductive and obstetric services aligned with trauma-informed care principles.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with integrated behavioral health clinicians, case managers, and social work staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
  • Mentorship & Teaching: Precept and mentor medical students and resident physicians in a clinical practice setting.
  • Community & Quality Engagement: Participate in community outreach, health screenings, and patient education. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support ongoing Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) operational goals.

Schedule & Clinical Volume
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Extended Hours: Rotational Tuesday late shift (until 7:30 PM)
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day

Qualifications & Requirements

Required:
  • Education & Training: MD or DO; completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency program.
  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Active Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification (and valid state medical license/DEA upon hire).
  • Clinical Competencies: Proven proficiency in providing routine OB/GYN care, prenatal care, and minor office procedures within a Family Medicine framework.
  • Practice Standards: Strong commitment to evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective teamwork across multidisciplinary staff and community partners.

Preferred:
  • Practice Setting: Prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), community health center, or directly serving underserved populations.
  • EHR Proficiency: Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a strong plus, though not required.
