Generalist Consulting for Broad Industry Exposure - Generalist consultants may work across all industries and capabilities at Oliver Wyman allowing them to acquire a breadth of knowledge and skills before aligning to a practice to focus on deepening content knowledge. Our CCG can support work across Consumer, Telecom and Technology, Energy and Natural Resources, Banking & Financial Services, Health and Life Sciences, Performance Transportation, Private Capital and Transportation and Advanced Industrials industries.
Banking & Financial Services Strategy & Risk - In our Banking & Financial Services practice, our consultants are positioned at the heart of the global financial system. We advise banks, insurers, asset managers, market infrastructure providers, and regulators on critical decisions that will shape the future of Financial Services, capital, risk, regulation, and growth. From day one, you will gain a thorough understanding of how financial institutions operate, how they serve clients, how they determine their customer and product strategies, and how they manage balance sheets, capital and liquidity, risk models, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
AI, Data, Analytics & Advanced Applications - We combine technical skills and data expertise to deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. Our consultants design, prototype, and operationalize machine learning, generative AI, and advanced-analytics solutions across diverse industries and work closely with data scientists and product teams. This role is ideal for analytical thinkers who love experimentation and applying cutting edge technology to real-world business problems.
- For this specialized role candidates may have:
- Technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical knowledge from internships, co-ops, and / or similar experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming or data language (for example Python, SQL, or R) and comfort working with data and analytics teams
- Strong quantitative and structured problem-solving skills: ability to form clear hypotheses, identify the right data, design analytical approaches, and draw defensible conclusions
Technology-Driven Transformation and Change Implementation - We lead high-impact, tech-enabled transformations for the largest companies, from strategy through implementation. Our consultants partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to coordinate rollout sequencing, integrations, and sustainment, often on multi-year engagements. This role combines systems thinking, delivery discipline, and technical skills to improve the technology, processes, and ways of working for thousands of people at the world's largest organizations.
- For this specialized role candidates may have:
- Technical or quantitative academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical knowledge from internships, co-ops, and / or similar experience
- Practical understanding of software architecture, development lifecycles, cloud and enterprise deployment patterns, and how to partner effectively with engineering and operations teams
- Aptitude for solving business problems with technology: ability to take an ambiguous business objective, reimagine workflows and processes by leveraging technology, and propose pragmatic solutions while considering value, risk, and delivery complexity
Private Equity, Deals, Diligence & Post Transaction - The Private Capital team partners with private equity investors across the deal lifecycle -- from opportunity assessment and commercial due diligence to post-transaction value creation -- helping shape critical investment decisions through rigorous, insight-driven analysis. We combine industry and functional expertise, proprietary tools, and a global expert network to deliver differentiated results.

Prior consulting or private equity experience is not required; we seek high-potential candidates eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
