Working in a cross-functional team environment, you are looked to as the expert for Amazon offline across the voice assistant and smart home categories. You understand the retail landscape, demo and fixture technologies, and translate creative direction to our technology framework while applying UX design methodologies to optimize customer interactions. You conduct user research, develop customer journey maps, and design experiences that reduce friction and delight shoppers at every stage of their in-store discovery process.

This position will play a pivotal role in gathering requirements for all asset needs across channels and devising efficient strategies for the launch of content at scale for our demo devices, digital screens and detail page experiences. You'll leverage UX best practices-including usability testing, wireframing, and iterative design-to ensure our retail fixtures and demo experiences are accessible, discoverable, and conversion-optimized.

You design information architecture for retail environments, prototype interactive experiences, and validate design decisions through customer feedback and behavioral data.

You strive to invent and simplify, creating strategies and playbooks that the offline global teams can use to make their everyday jobs easier. Your North Star is creating an offline experience that is bar-raising, quickly recognized by Amazon shoppers globally, while staying true to our brand voice and delivering exceptional user experiences that convert browsers into buyers.

• Be a strategic thought-leader collaborating with product marketing, product management, and design to determine messaging priorities, incorporating UX best practices for information hierarchy and interaction patterns
• Conduct usability testing on demo fixtures and touchbar interfaces to identify friction points and iterate on experiences that maximize engagement and purchase intent
• Clarify project commitments and maintain accountability by leading stakeholder meetings, ensuring UX requirements are prioritized
• Oversee production of engaging print materials, digital content, and video assets applying UX content strategy principles
• Develop comprehensive playbooks incorporating UX design standards, accessibility guidelines, and conversion optimization tactics
• Stay updated on retail UX design trends, interactive fixture technologies, and customer experience innovation
• Implement scalable processes maintaining high UX quality standards across channels
• Champion the offline playbook, incorporating UX research insights into continuous improvement
• Design information architecture and navigation flows for digital touchbars that reduce cognitive load and create clear paths to purchase
• Manage budget for on-fixture video content and design spend, ensuring resources drive measurable conversion lift
• Proven track record of taking Ownership and Delivering Results
