Full Job Description
$69,000 to $104,000 Annually - Depending on Experience.

Position Summary:

The Office Manager at Roby's Propane Gas oversees daily office operations to ensure exceptional customer relations, maximum efficiency, quality control, and a positive, collaborative work environment. This role serves as a Roby's Propane Gas ambassador.

Essential Functions:
  • Recruit, hire, and staff the office with qualified personnel.
  • Supervise, train, and develop office staff to deliver a high level of customer service; conduct weekly team huddles.
  • Assist customers with questions, issues, or complaints that cannot be resolved by Customer Service Representatives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, complete performance scorecards, and make wage recommendations to the General Manager.
  • Prepare and submit payroll information and benefit changes for the district.
  • Participate in department head meetings and conduct monthly coaching meetings.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company computer systems, reports, programs, promotions, HR issues, and policies and procedures.
  • Assist, as needed, with the development of new district reports and reporting procedures.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, training, and support in areas including:
    • Employee orientation and development
    • Sales involvement
    • District outings or events
    • Ergonomics and office safety
    • Workers' compensation
    • Annual budgeting
    • Maintain knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, including sales and use tax, sexual harassment, workers' compensation, payroll, and video display terminal training requirements.
