Why the Role Is Important:

NTT DATA is seeking a dynamic Consultant to delight our clients and support a successful People & Organization Consulting Practice. As a consultant in this practice, your typical day will include both client and internal practice contributions:

Client contributions:
  • Provides project management support to multiple medium sized projects or one larger more complex project. Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements.
  • Supports all aspects of the project execution including chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management, and reporting.
  • Facilitates resource planning, cost estimation, budget development and cost control
  • Ensures consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
  • Solid ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.
  • Creates/delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
  • Interacts with clients acting as a key liaison between business and technology areas.

Internal practice contributions:
  • Build internal network for career growth.
  • Assist with development of thought leadership, collateral, tools, and templates.


Required Qualifications:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, HR, organizational development, I/O psychology, communications, or equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience.
  • You have 2 years' recent Big 4 and/or boutique consulting firm experience, where you built client relationships that resulted in trusted advisor activity.


Preferred Skills:
  • You have Prosci, ACMP or an equivalent OCM certification.
  • You have 2 or more years in organization development / design; organizational effectiveness; culture and workforce transformation; learning and training design, development, and delivery; Configured Platforms (i.e. SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow) implementations.
  • You have impressive communication skills. You have the ability to skillfully craft executive summaries and detailed information and reports for leadership.
  • You are a team player who leads by example and is a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success.
  • You have strong project management experience, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management.
  • You have the ability to travel up to 50%.
