About the roleConcept Plus is seeking an architect for a Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud[redacted] environments. The architect will own tenant design, landing zones, and governance patterns that enable secure, compliant, and rapidly repeatable onboarding of CMS mission-critical financial, analytics, and enterprise workloads.
What you'll do- Design OCI tenancy architecture: compartments, identity domains, landing zones, governance controls, and network baselines.
- Advise on and guide Exadata & Cloud[redacted] (ExaCC) design and workload/database migration in alignment with CMS governance and security requirements.
- Establish reusable, standardized onboarding patterns and reference architectures to accelerate new tenant provisioning.
- Define baseline controls for Cloud Guard, logging, IAM policies, and tagging across the OCI estate.
- Partner with CMS cloud, COMET, SecOps, and NetOps teams and GDIT leadership as part of an integrated program team.
Required Qualifications- Expert-level OCI architecture experience across public, government, and Cloud[redacted] deployments.
- Deep knowledge of OCI landing zones, compartments, identity domains, VCNs, and governance frameworks.
- Strong grasp of federal security/compliance: FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53 r5, CMS ARS, HIPAA.
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, and decision documents to federal standards.
- Must satisfy CMS security requirements and obtain/maintain applicable CMS background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior CMS or large federal healthcare cloud program experience.
- Multi-cloud experience.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading design reviews.
- 10+ years IT/cloud engineering with 5+ years in OCI architecture.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional certification strongly preferred; equivalent enterprise cloud architecture certification acceptable.
