We are seeking an experienced, school-based Occupational Therapist with a New Jersey OT license and the ability to obtain a New Jersey School Certification to join our growing team.

Occupational Therapist in the Jersey City School District, where you'll use evidence-based techniques to help students achieve greater independence and success in their daily activities. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs that support students' functional, developmental, sensory, and educational goals. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population and collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Your Responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist- Deliver evidence-based, quality care that empowers students to maximize their independence and functional outcomes
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success
- Demonstrate positive and professional relationships with students, colleagues, and community stakeholders
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate to achieve established goals
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in professional development opportunities and complete all responsibilities in a timely manner
- Support students in developing the skills needed for participation in educational, social, and daily living activities

Qualifications & Pay RangeQualifications - Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
- State Licensure in occupational therapy
- Registered with NBCOT
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
Compensation- Total Compensation Range: Starting at $42.50 per thirty-minute treatment
