Qualifications

• Experience in an inpatient rehab setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program required.
• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program preferred.
• Specialty practice certification preferred.
• Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility for licensure required.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services.
• Conduct patient examinations for ages 12 and up.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members.
• Supervise and provide clinical direction to support staff and students.
• Instruct therapy support staff, patients, and caregivers on care procedures.
• Rotate through various clinical areas as needed.
