Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist II (Outpatient) develops and delivers occupational therapy services to patients specific to age and developmental level by assessment, program planning, provision of treatment. Provides functional supervision to occupational therapy personnel assisting in patient treatment. Provides instruction to assigned occupational therapy interns on clinical observations and affiliations.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year full time experience as an OT I, or equivalent, treating pediatric patients. Dysphagia experience preferred. Hospital based experience preferred. Broad knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices and CHLA patient care policies and procedures
Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduation from an approved School of Occupational Therapy. Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy or eligibility for certification. Licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Current American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider CPR certification.
Pay Scale Information
$95,326.40-$127,088.00
