Full Job Description
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an academic leader to fill the position for the Division Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS).

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, research, and the delivery of evidence-based clinical care. The primary responsibility will be to lead integrated clinical and investigative programs that advance the departments strategic priorities. This individual will direct the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, ensuring excellence in patient care, medical education for students, residents, and fellows, and the development of high-impact research that informs clinical practice.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, successful completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, board-certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and experience in leadership and scholarship. Applicants must also be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Completion of fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery is not required.
