Full Job Description
As a Nursing Supervisor RN, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn -whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
  • Performs rounds on each nursing unit.
  • Observes and assesses the quality of patient care being delivered.
  • Identify nursing educational needs.
  • Escalate concerns about nursing skills, patient care, policies, processes, and equipment as appropriate.
  • Ensure that nurses within scope of support have a clear understanding of how to integrate patient experience into nursing practice.
  • Responds to emergencies on units

What you will need in this role:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or
  • Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
