Wage Range: $83,262 - $133,224 per year

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for nursing and clinical positions across our organization. Job Summary:
Develops and implements timely, effective and efficient recruitment and retention strategies that meet or exceed organizational nursing staffing requirements. Works as an integral member of the HR team delivering high-quality customer service to all client groups.

Primary Duties:
  1. Contacts hiring manager/supervisor to develop and implement effective, position-specific recruitment strategies. Conducts necessary research to identify most appropriate, cost-effective means of advertising by developing and submitting ad copy, as necessary.
  2. Partners with hiring managers to evaluate applicable education, experience, skill, knowledge and ability of those in applicant pool. Helps to determine suitability for employment and provide hiring recommendations to manager, as well as, assisting in the determination of appropriate pay rates.
  3. Develops and extends job offers to internal and external job candidates while providing information on salary, benefits, orientation date, tuition reimbursement, etc.
  4. Collaborates with hiring manager/supervisor and HR team member(s) to help resolve a variety of recruitment-related issues.
  5. Facilitates the flow of information between the hiring manager and HR colleagues pertaining to timely posting, advertising, interviewing and hiring of qualified applicants.
  6. Recommends workable solutions to work-related problems and may partner with hiring managers to develop and implement employee staffing plans, while participating in the identification, research, development and implementation of effective retention strategies including employee recognition, flexible work schedule, and other possible programs.
  7. Assists with and primary backup for nursing executive level recruitment.
  8. Partners with the Director to develop and maintain employment performance metrics, regulatory compliance and surveys.
  9. Plans, prepares and delivers Applicant Tracking System employment presentation at the New Managers Orientations.
  10. Performed other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • 5 years of progressive Human Resources or Nursing experience preferably in a leadership role.
  • Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking program experience
  • Demonstrated skills in all facets of full cycle recruitment including but not limited to executive recruitment, employment agreements, compensation analysis, advertising, sourcing and conducting a search including working with a third-party vendor.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining collaborative, customer-oriented relationships with hiring managers, HR colleagues, community organizations and schools.
  • Current knowledge of Joint Commission and Department of Health regulations
  • Sensitivity to and knowledge of various ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic groups
  • Current knowledge of State and Federal employment laws/regulations pertaining to non-discrimination, substance abuse, fraud and abuse and recruiting issues
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize a high-volume workload with attention to detail while managing multiple complex projects and priorities to successfully meet deadlines
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of employees, physicians, volunteers and management


DESIRED for the position:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MN or MSN)
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification
  • CHCR, CRS, or other recruiter certification
  • Previous acute care healthcare experience
