Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hepatobiliary (Ambulatory)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and highly collaborative APP (Advanced Practice Provider), Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), to join our ambulatory Hepatobiliary service. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who thrives in a collaborative but autonomous setting and is comfortable seeing patients in an independent capacity within a shared service model, with appropriate physician support and escalation pathways.

In this role, the APP will work closely with experienced surgical oncology specialized physician and APP colleagues, providing comprehensive care across a broad spectrum of Hepatobiliary conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow patients in the ambulatory hepatobiliary clinical setting
  • Support pre- and post-procedure management for patients undergoing advanced surgical oncology and hepatobiliary interventions
  • Contribute to a flexible practice model that is designed to support future growth and evolving clinical needs


Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current, unrestricted applicable New York State License
  • Current Board Certification as a PA-C, FNP, AGNP, or equivalent.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior surgical oncology or hepatobiliary specific experience, although highly motivated new graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment as part of a multidisciplinary team.
