Responsibilities:- Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform follow-up care.
- Assist in surgeries and procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.
Requirements:- Meet credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure, clinical privileges, and medical staff membership.
- Hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus or experience in neurosurgery.
- Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Exhibit a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
