Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with neonatologists and fellow NNPs in patient management.
  • Oversee newborn nursery and Level III NICU coverage.
  • Manage approximately 20 hours of NNP shift coverage per day.
  • Conduct daily assessments of neonates and implement treatment plans.
  • Respond to the needs of neonates and families promptly.
  • Participate in the development of care protocols and procedures.

Permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)

Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a full-time opportunity with a well-established Level III NICU.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time permanent position.
  • 16-bed Level III NICU.
  • Approximately 320 NICU admissions and 1,900 births annually.
  • Average daily census of 10.
  • Work alongside neonatologists and experienced NNPs.
  • Coverage includes Level III NICU and newborn nursery.
  • Approximately 20 hours/day of NNP shift coverage.
  • Daytime in-house neonatologist coverage and nighttime home call.
