Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hospital Cardiologists to provide patient care

  • Conduct Admissions, Discharges, and Inpatient Consultations
  • Respond to floor calls for the Cardiology service
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary

Full Job Description
The NP team is hiring a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner.

Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off - 7:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $150,000 - $172,955.95 / year

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner will practice in collaboration with hospital Cardiologists as direct healthcare providers. Responsibilities include working with patients and families to coordinate the delivery of care throughout the hospitalization. This is done by assessing, diagnosing, treating, educating and consulting through regular and/or crisis intervention. The Cardiology NP is responsible for completing Admissions, Discharges, Inpatient Consultations and addressing floor calls for the Cardiology service.

Job Requirements:
  • Current New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Current New York State License as an Adult, Family Nurse Practitioner or Specialty area
  • Minimum of two (2) years RN experience in critical care nursing.
  • Master of Science Degree in Nursing or its direct equivalent, preferred.
  • ACLS certification required.
