Assigned TerritoryThis position serves patients throughout the St. Louis area, providing specialty care at Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Post-Acute Care facilities located in St. Louis, University City, Richmond Heights
, and surrounding communities. Daily travel within the assigned territory is expected to support patient care and operational needs.
Providers enjoy a full-time, Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no regularly scheduled weekends or traditional on-call responsibilities, allowing for an exceptional work-life balance.
What You'll DoAs a Nurse Practitioner with Alteas Health, you'll provide specialty Pulmonology services while working collaboratively with physicians, facility staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and episodic cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practice.
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory studies, imaging, and other diagnostic testing.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, therapy, pharmacy, social services, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Round at assigned Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Post-Acute Care facilities.
- Build strong relationships with facility leadership and clinical teams.
- Represent Alteas Health with professionalism, integrity, compassion, and clinical excellence.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state(s) of practice.
- Current national certification appropriate to licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum six (6) months of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel daily throughout an assigned territory.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) or more years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Post-Acute Care, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Hospital Medicine, or Geriatrics.
- Experience caring for medically complex patient populations.

$120,000-140,000
