Position Highlights
- 100% inpatient Neurology practice
- Collaborate with and support 4 board-certified Neurology Physicians
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Participate in multidisciplinary inpatient care teams
- Opportunity to work in a well-established and highly respected Neurology program
- Experience in stroke care is preferred
- Strong clinical support and collaborative physician partnership
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Neurology experience preferred
- Stroke care experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
- Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
