Full Job Description
Position: Nurse Manager - Float Pool

Department: Premier Nursing Staffing Pool

Facility: Miami Valley Hospital

Shift: Full time 8:00am-5:00pm/ 80 Hours Per Pay

The Nurse Manager - System Float Pool has the responsibility for the enterprise-wide float staff (RN & PCT), Tier I, Tier II and Tier III. The manager is responsible for managing and analyzing the utilization of float pool as well as outside agency personnel when supplemental staffing resources are necessary. The manager is key to the daily operations of the staffing process. The Manager is accountable for the preparation and maintenance of budgets for staffing resources. The Tier II personnel practice at AMC, MVH and UVMC including offsite locations. This role will collaborate with the site-specific leaders to ensure alignment with site specific initiatives, enterprise-wide staffing allocation and consistent utilization of the API scheduling software. The manager is responsible for the process involved in the daily coordination of resources. In addition to these facility-based expectations, the manager is responsible to coordinate daily allocation of Tier I, Tier III

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree
