Nurse Manager (RN) Rehabilitation

Shift: Full Time, Day Shift

How you27ll contribute as an employee of TRH Keller you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. As Nurse Manager, you27ll lead a high-performing team grounded in teamwork and effective communication. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you27ll mentor and support nursing staff while ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. You will overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.

Essential Functions

  • Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
  • Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
  • Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
  • Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage staff performance, resolve issues, and foster team development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. BSN Preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
