Nurse Manager RN - Adult Behavioral Health

HAVENWYCK HOSPITAL (a UHS facility)

Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. It is the ultimate goal of our dedicated staff to build strength, confidence and knowledge within each patient, in hopes that they may continue learning and understanding their needs and practicing self-care for the rest of their lives.

Position Summary

The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24 hour per day, 7 days per week operations of the acute inpatient unit(s).

Duties and responsibilities, to include; but are not limited to:
  • Able to articulate goals and objectives of the Department. Ability to effectively present information to staff, patients, families, and licensing and regulating agencies.
  • Excellent written communication skills needed to assist in preparing reports, writing policies, and minutes for department meetings, and carrying out Performance Improvement planning and monitoring.
  • Must be able to actively participate in all Non Violent Crisis Interventions on the unit at all times as present
  • Organizational skills, writing skills, basic computer skills.
  • One year of supervisor or Charge RN experience required.

Qualifications
