Position: Nurse Manager

Department: MedSurg- Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who functions as a patient care provider, supervisor and clinical resource for staff. She/he implements management and clinical activities. Coordinates clinical activities to ensure that the nursing process is operationalized utilizing Standards of Care/Standards of Practice. Primary responsibilities include ensuring the provision of patient care consistent with department/hospital and regulatory standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program (BSN) preferred
  • Certificates/Licenses Required: Current Massachusetts RN license, BLS and ACLS required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three to five years clinical experience required. Charge nurse or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Knowledge + Skills: Analytical abilities necessary to organize, supervise and evaluate the work of others, to develop, interpret, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures and standards. Work requires effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written multilingual skill (beyond that of English) in languages appropriate to the patient populations served by the Hospital. Proficiency with standard software programs used in healthcare (such as MS Word, Outlook) and web browsers, patient registration systems and electronic medical record. Some telemetry experience preferred.


Compensation Range:
$113,500.00- $164,500.00
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
