Compensation: The pay range for this position is $90,000-110,000 annually, set in good faith based on the responsibilities of the role, qualifications, and market conditions.
Job Summary
The Nurse Manager leads a team of dedicated RN's, LPN's and Medication Aides in a residential substance use disorder treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in planning, priority setting, and the development/implementation of policies and procedures for health care activities that comply with facility and contractual requirements as well as State, DEA, and CARF standards.
Support the development, provision, and evaluation of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice in the state of Virginia.
Support recruitment/retention efforts for nursing service.
Prepare/submit reports as requested.
On-going chart reviews to ensure compliance with Federal/State/regulatory requirements.
Provide training, consultation and direction in dealing with difficult clients.
Participation/leadership in treatment team meetings as well as grievance and appeals meeting.
Participate in ongoing training per program/State/Federal requirements.
Participate in ongoing in-house training requirements.
Provides education and training to new hires and current staff.
Acts as a facilitator of standard nursing practices.
Perform rounds, standard nursing evaluation tests such as blood pressures, temperatures, drawing blood for laboratory testing; assesses conditions; dispenses medication as needed.
Provides input into the daily and annual operations of the nursing department.
Monitors nursing operations measures monthly.
Perform other functions related to the position as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Credentials
Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
Experience
