How you'll make an impact in this role- Direct daily workflows and clinical operations for the Cardiovascular/Cath Lab department, maintaining optimal nursing resource allocation and high standards of care.
- Develop, implement, and enforce departmental policies to guarantee efficiency while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Formulate and manage the annual operating budget, auditing and approving expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource management.
- Establish quality monitoring systems, maintain 24/7 operational accountability for the unit, and proactively resolve clinical or operational issues affecting patient care.
- Lead end-to-end personnel management, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to drive high staff, patient, and physician satisfaction.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
