SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible for daily operations of assigned areas to include but not limited to staffing, HR functions, financial performance, quality and safety, patient/staff/physician satisfaction, compliance with regulatory agencies and policy and procedure development. The Clinical Nurse Manager will maintain clinical competency and acts as a clinical resource. The Clinical Nurse Manager is the liaison between staff members and medical staff and is an advocate for patients/family members to ensure continuity of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years progressive clinical leadership experience required.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - required prior to the end of the orientation period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • BSN preferred.
