We are a primary stroke center and cardiac referral center. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to oversee daily operations, support a collaborative team, and drive excellence in patient care.
Our leadership team consists of (2) Assistant Nurse Managers, Reporting to the Director, a Lead Emergency Room Technician and (2) Educators. The manger will oversee approximately 98 FTEs.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and coordinate 24/7 Emergency Department operations.
- Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Monitor quality, safety, staffing, and financial performance.
- Implement evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Experience in leading change management and process improvement.
- Experince with lean principles.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications: - Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience, with demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
