We are currently seeking a Nurse Manager to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) team and help advance our mission of empowering people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
What You Will Do:- Collaborate with ACCS leadership to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented, person-centered, and team-based nursing care across community and residential services.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing clinical guidance, support, performance feedback, and oversight that promotes safe, effective, and compliant care.
- Oversee the assessment, coordination, and follow-up of medical and psychiatric needs for adults living with serious mental health conditions and other complex health needs.
- Carry out and oversee physician orders, medication administration, vital signs, health screenings, and other nursing interventions within the scope of practice.
- Support medication reconciliation, health education, discharge and transition planning, and continuity of care following hospital or emergency-service encounters.
- Coordinate with psychiatric and medical providers, primary-care practices, pharmacies, hospitals, families and natural supports, residential teams, and community partners.
- Provide clinical consultation for changes in health status, medication concerns, risk-management needs, and urgent or crisis situations, coordinating appropriate interventions.
- Ensure nursing assessments, progress notes, physician and medication orders, and other required documentation are clear, accurate, timely, and compliant with BHN and applicable standards.
- Promote effective medication-management practices, staff competency, quality improvement, and integration of behavioral and physical healthcare across ACCS teams.
- Manage medical supplies and inventory, maintain nursing licensure, complete required training, and support essential program operations as needed.
Who You Are:- Current, unrestricted Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.
- At least one year of experience working with a behavioral health population required.
- Experience supporting adults with serious mental health conditions in community-based, residential, rehabilitation, or related services preferred.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, psychotropic medications, chronic health needs, health education, and appropriate nursing interventions required.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and coordinate complex medical and psychiatric needs and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary care teams.
- Ability to supervise and develop nursing staff while promoting accountability, sound clinical practice, teamwork, and person-centered care.
- Cultural responsiveness and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with complex or challenging needs.
- Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, and technology skills.
Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000
