Responsibilities: - Provide nuclear safety technical support services in accordance with 10 CFR 830 Subpart B and applicable standards such as DOE-STD-3009-94, DOE-STD-[redacted] and DOE-STD-[redacted].
- Utilize demonstrated experience in the hazard identification, hazard screening, and hazard evaluation process.
- Perform accident and consequence analysis process.
- Assist with identification and development of engineered and/or administrative controls credited for the prevention or mitigation of postulated accidents.
- Document the results of these processes in safety analysis reports, documented safety analyses, and technical safety requirements.
Requirements: - A minimum education of a Bachelor of Science degree.
- A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.
- Must be US citizen.
- Successful drug screening.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if needed.
