The Nuclear Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, testing, and overseeing systems and processes. This role ensures the safe, efficient and compliant while supporting innovation in energy production and radiation applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct engineering analyses, simulations, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with nuclear safety regulations and industry standards.
- Review technical documentation and prepare engineering reports.
- Develop procedures for handling radioactive materials and waste.
- Working directly with the respective Product Line Leader, Quality, Manufacturing, and other Functional Teams to ensure products meet internal and external requirements, start to finish, and provide for continued growth of the product line.
- Fostering a creative environment; allowing for new ideas while embracing speed and excellence.
- Supporting technical discussions with customers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years9 experience desired.
- Knowledge of reactor physics, thermodynamics, and radiation protection.
- Familiarity with nuclear regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Experience with an ERP system such as SAP is a plus.
- Experience in nuclear power plants, research facilities, or regulatory environments.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor9 degree in Nuclear Engineering, Applied Physics, or similar field.
