Full Job Description
North America Senior Field Marketing Manager

RSA is looking to hire a North America Marketing Director to own field marketing and global events strategy across the region - driving pipeline and revenue growth in lockstep with Federal, Strategic, Enterprise, and Commercial sales leadership

This is a role for a hard-hitting operator: someone who can build the plan, defend it to executive leadership, and still roll up their sleeves to land a flagship program. You'll be relentlessly focused on marketing activity that ties directly to regional business priorities, with clear KPIs and rigorous performance tracking throughout.

This role does not own channel marketing - that sits with the North America Channel Marketing Manager, a close partner in keeping field and channel programs aligned.

Principal Responsibilities:

Strategic In-Region Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Serve as the senior marketing partner to Federal, Strategic, Enterprise, and Commercial sales leadership - translating business goals into integrated plans that drive net-new logos, cross-/upsell, and pipeline tied to each segment's targets.
  • Own the North America field marketing strategy and annual plan, prioritizing investment across RSA's priority ICP based on business impact.
  • Bring a sharp command of buyer personas and buying journeys - know who you're targeting, what moves them, and when - and use that insight to shape campaigns, not just events.
  • Partner with Corporate Communications and Product Marketing to shape regionally relevant content - the right message, format, value propositions and timing at each stage of the buyer journey.
  • Design and lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns - events, launches, roadshows, webinars and initiatives - that build pipeline.
  • An understanding of buyer personas and buying journeys, and how to translate that knowledge into campaigns and content that convert.
  • Real experience designing and running integrated, multi-channel campaigns - not just executing standalone events.

Global Events Strategy & Execution

  • Build the global events strategy with the judgment to maximize ROI on major corporate investments: know how to use them launch platforms, big messages, key narratives.
  • Make every event count: this isn't just about having a booth - secure speaking slots, build lead-gen programs around it and run differentiated pre- and post-event engagement that extends its value.
  • Partner with Corporate Comms to ensure event messaging and branding is distinctive - a real statement of RSA's market position, not generic booth presence.
  • Partner with regional marketing leaders so global strategy lands as well-executed, regionally relevant programs.
  • Own ROI measurement - cost per opportunity, pipeline sourced/influenced, speed to pipeline - with AI-assisted reporting to close the loop fast.

Budget Ownership & Executive Reporting

  • Own and manage the North America field marketing budget end to end
  • Build and defend well-justified business cases to executive management, backed by clear data and rationale.
  • Track performance against budget, pipeline, and revenue targets; reallocate in-quarter based on what's working, and represent results in executive and QBR settings with total command of the numbers.

AI-Driven Field Marketing Efficiency

  • Use AI to move faster: campaign brief generation, content localization, event personalization, faster asset turnaround.
  • Consume the account/intent signals surfaced by RSA's demand-gen stack (e.g., 6Sense or equivalent) to prioritize targets
  • Push the team's use of AI-assisted dashboards and reporting to allocate budget, raising the bar on speed and efficiency.

Team Leadership & Regional Execution

  • Manage, coach, and develop the North America Field Marketing Manager(s), setting clear objectives and supporting career growth.
  • Work closely with the VP, Demand Generation on regional ABM strategy
  • Ensure disciplined lead/MQL management
  • Partner closely with the North America Channel Marketing Manager to keep field and channel programs complementary, not duplicative.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years leading marketing teams - able to set direction and develop managers, not just individual contributors.
  • Proven ability to build and defend marketing plans and budgets at the executive level, ideally in enterprise technology or cybersecurity.
  • Track record partnering with complex, multi-segment sales organizations (e.g., Federal, Strategic, Enterprise, Commercial).
  • Demonstrated ownership of events strategy at scale, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Strong budget management and ROI discipline; comfortable presenting business cases to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate execution, and collaborating with - not owning - a demand-gen/MarTech AI stack run by a peer function.Working knowledge of HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and 6Sense (or equivalents).
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; willingness to travel to support flagship events and sales engagements.

How We'll Measure Success

  • NA field marketing-sourced and -influenced pipeline and revenue, by ICP across Federal, Strategic, Enterprise and Commercial
  • Event ROI: cost per opportunity and pipeline generated per flagship event.
  • Budget efficiency - return on NA field marketing spend, tracked and allocated in-quarter.
  • Speed and quality of KPI reporting to sales and executive leadership.
