Full Job Description
Leads a team of technicians responsible for manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Owns safety, quality, staffing, scheduling, and employee performance management while serving as the first point of escalation for on-shift operational, safety, and security issues. Drives efficient factory operations by overseeing workflow, optimizing processes, and coordinating across functional teams to meet production, quality, cost, and output objectives.
Ensures area performance through effective workforce planning, training, development, and retention. Manages shift operations, including workstation assignments, rotations, vacations, overtime, break coverage, and contingency staffing. Maintains required certification levels and workforce readiness to support production and wafer ramp targets.
Partners with engineering teams to resolve equipment and operational issues, improve tool performance, and sustain manufacturing health. Oversees both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities and develops strategies to enhance operational capability and support future manufacturing requirements.
Responsible for setting clear goals, driving accountability, fostering employee development, and enabling successful team execution. Delivers results by promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while role-modeling company values and maintaining a productive work environment.
Shift Schedule: This position may be staffed on either of the following compressed workweek schedules:
- Shift 7 (days backend): AM/PM, Thursday through Saturday, plus alternating Wednesdays.
- Shift 6 (nights backend): PM/AM, Wednesday through Friday, plus alternating Saturdays.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- OR 5+ years of semiconductor manufacturing or wafer fabrication experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- OR 4+ years of people management or leadership experience in a manufacturing or military environment.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USD
