NMCA - Supervisor

Location - Portsmouth, OH or Paducah, KY
Position Overview

Under limited supervision, performs Nuclear Materials Control & Accountability job functions as assigned by management. Responsible for ensuring proper control, tracking, inventory verification, and movement of assigned nuclear material in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, DOE directives, and company policies. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas:
Functional:
  • Plans, schedules, and organizes work to ensure utilization of employees and compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines.
  • Instructs employees on work methods and performance expectations.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and motivation to subordinate personnel.
  • Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization, senior management, and auditors.
  • Oversees daily operations of the Nuclear Materials Control & Accountability group.
  • Provides direction, training, and evaluation of subordinate personnel.
  • Assists with development, review, and updates of plans, policies, and procedures as needed.
  • Supports positive employee relations through effective communication and engagement.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to project senior management.
  • Ensures assigned methods, processes, and activities are performed to required standards.
  • Completes duties of complex nature in compliance with applicable requirements.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, accounting, or related field
  • 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
