Direct a staff of Production Supervisors, Foreman, and hourly employees.

Manage raw material usage -- establish goals and communicate performance. Design and implement processes and procedures to continuously improve performance.
Manage labor usage -- establish goals and communicate performance. Design and implement processes and procedures to continuously improve performance.
Manage all costs associated with manufacturing.
Manage Job Safety Analysis process, ensure that JSA's are reviewed, updated, and shared with employees.
Manage Food Defense Process, ensure that FDA Food Protection Plan guidelines are met.
Manage & ensure product quality and customer satisfaction -- constantly interact with QA and customers to ensure product meets specifications and customer needs are satisfied.
Enforce company policies. Ensure employee rules are enforced and discipline is carried out fairly and consistantly.
Ensure supervisors are compliant with verifying payroll punches and keeping attendance updated.
Ensure employee Union contract is followed -- interact with Union representation and shop steward regarding grievances and employee policy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS/BA degree, minimum 10 years food manufacturing experience must have excellent mathematical, statistical, and accounting skills. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
