The Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) Analyst will be supporting the analysis of flight vehicles and their ability to withstand nuclear effects in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The position requires some existing knowledge is this area as well as a strong interest in additional on the job learning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)
  • Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosures
  • Develop testing and qualification plans for systems
  • Develop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reports
  • Summarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years' experience with Nuclear Effects Analysis
  • Demonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to document analysis methodology and results.
  • Excellent communication skills are required, as position requires the description/documentation of analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools (PowerPoint, Word)
  • Active security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is required
  • Up to 10% of travel may be required.


*This role is open in multiple locations and at multiple levels. Candidates will be hired at a level consistent with their background and experience:

  • Wilmington, MA

    • Level III: $115,800 - $176,200
    • Level IV: $146,500 - $224,500
  • Hill AFB, UT

    • Level III: $101,000 - $153,600
    • Level IV: $128,200 - $196,400
