We are searching for junior associates to join our Corporate group in our New York office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in mergers and acquisitions or in providing strategic support to start-ups or venture capital firms.
We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem. Depending on existing experience, your practice at Gunderson would involve a mix of counseling early-stage entrepreneurs, representing companies and venture funds in venture financing rounds and M&A, as well as investor-side financing in growth equity rounds. You will have significant client contact daily, and must be comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.
Job Requirements: - JD 2023 - 2024
- Previous large law firm experience required.
- Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of New York.
- Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
- Demonstrated experience in M&A, venture capital financings and/or growth equity financing transactions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued.
