Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a New Product Launch Engineer to join its Saline, MI team! The New Product Launch Engineer will spearhead the introduction of new products, ensuring they conform to customer requirements and are delivered on schedule. Ensure the design, consistency, and functionality of a product launch throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities of the New Product Launch Engineer:
- Coordinate and manage the launch of new products into production, ensuring smooth transitions and Successful implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to develop and execute launch plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during the launch process to resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications of the New Product Launch Engineer:
- B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) from an accredited university
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- New product development launch and Stage Gate experience
- Proven track record of delivering products and/or processes to launch with differentiated innovative fit form and function.
- Experience Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Significant cross functional experience in interfacing with sourcing, quality, and manufacturing within product development and for other business-led initiatives
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Desire to work hands-on, prototype and troubleshoot proactively
