Full Job Description
We are seeking a motivated New College Graduate (NCG) to join Lab Operations and Equipment Automation support team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting laboratory systems, equipment automation solutions, mobile technologies, operational workflows, and laboratory business processes used across global Engineering and R&D environments. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, laboratory personnel, engineering teams, product owners, and IT organizations to support critical laboratory operations, improve business processes, assist with equipment automation initiatives, and help ensure operational excellence across multiple laboratory locations. Key Responsibilities Equipment Automation & Systems Integration Support • Support laboratory equipment automation solutions and operational technology workflows. • Partner with laboratory, engineering, and IT teams to understand automation-related business processes and system requirements. • Assist with functional support activities for equipment-to-application integrations and automated data collection processes. • Help investigate automation workflow issues and coordinate resolution with development, engineering, infrastructure, and support teams. • Support onboarding of new laboratory equipment and automation-enabled workflows. • Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for automation enhancements and system integrations. • Maintain process documentation, user guides, and operating procedures related to laboratory automation. • Support incident triage, issue tracking, and operational monitoring activities within a 24x7 support environment. Laboratory Operations Support • Support business applications and solutions used for laboratory operations, asset tracking, workflow management, resource scheduling, and operational reporting. • Work closely with laboratory personnel to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. • Assist in onboarding new laboratories, users, and operational workflows. • Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory environments. • Participate in operational reviews and business process assessments. Mobility & Peripheral Device Support • Support functional coordination for mobile device solutions used within laboratory environments. • Assist with tablet-based workflows and business applications supporting laboratory operations. • Coordinate printer onboarding, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities. • Partner with infrastructure, endpoint, and workplace services teams to ensure device readiness. • Assist with evaluation and adoption of new technologies supporting laboratory operations. Laboratory Security & Compliance Support • Support laboratory application security processes and user access management activities. • Assist with user provisioning, role-based access control administration, and access review processes. • Coordinate access request fulfillment activities and documentation. • Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to support compliance with corporate security standards. • Participate in audit readiness activities, compliance reviews, and security documentation efforts. • Support remediation tracking for security findings, vulnerabilities, and compliance-related action items. • Promote security awareness and best practices across laboratory environments. Additional Information Time Type: Full time Employee Type: New College Grad Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: No The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
