Deliver results.As a New Business Manager for the U500 market, you will build new client relationships and bring our health solutions to employers in an assigned plan, territory, or geographic area. You will combine market knowledge, disciplined prospecting, and consultative selling to understand client needs and create solutions across Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, and Behavioral products. This is an opportunity to work with ambitious, compassionate experts while helping clients and their employees move toward better health.
Responsibilities- Develop and carry out a focused sales strategy for targeted accounts, producers, and prospects in the assigned market.
- Win new business through direct and broker channels while building relationships that support future growth.
- Meet or exceed annual goals for new clients, revenue, membership, and profitability.
- Lead the sales process across Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, and Behavioral products, from prospecting through close.
- Shape strong proposals by guiding RFP responses, aligning internal partners, presenting quotations, and connecting solutions to client needs.
- Partner across the organization to develop effective presale strategies and move opportunities forward.
- Maintain consistent sales activity and accurate prospect and producer information to support a healthy pipeline.
Qualifications- 3+ years of sales experience.
- 1+ years of managed care sales experience.
- Experience selling a range of health and benefits products through direct and broker channels
- Experience in insurance underwriting or operations, or a proven sales record.
- Ability to work strategically with matrix partners to develop presale strategies and proposals.
- Strong presentation, verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Ability to obtain required licenses.
- Acceptable driving record.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
