Job DescriptionSeeking a Neuropsychologist with a focus in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroinflammatory DiseasesThe Mount Sinai Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis is seeking a full-time neuropsychologist at the level of Assistant Professor. We seek candidates who have completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology; those with prior experience as well as entry-level applicants are welcome. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive function to inform wellness initiatives. This role involves providing outpatient neuropsychological assessments and working closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes MS neurologists, neurology fellows, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other specialists. The candidate will join a strong team that currently includes three neuropsychologists.
ResponsibilitiesThe neuropsychologist will participate in our multidisciplinary case conferences, presenting assessment findings and contributing to patient care planning. There will also be opportunities to engage in research, including investigations into cognitive and neurological functioning, disease mechanisms, and clinical interventions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is encouraged, with access to resources and support for developing independent research initiatives.
Qualifications- Eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. required from an APA or CPA-accredited program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or a related field
- Current New York State licensure required
- Post-doctoral training in Neuropsychology is required
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The compensation range for this position is $112K to $150K, based on experience and qualifications (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).
