General Summary of Position

MedStar Health is looking for a Neuropsychologist I to join our team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Network!

The Neuropsychologist I will provide a full range of medically necessary neuropsychological, psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic services to MedStar NRN outpatients and inpatients and their families, who are referred for Neuropsychological services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides direct psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic services to MNRN outpatients and inpatients.
  • Develops behavioral assessment treatment and remediation programs for MNRN patients and implements such programs in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Maintains documentation of services provided in sufficient detail and at sufficient intervals to permit administrative and peer review to permit audit of services against charges for services and to meet documentation requirements of the MNRN and the Psychology Service.
  • Charges appropriately for all services provided and accurately fills out information required to create a bill.
  • Participates in development and implementation of goals and objectives for the consulted to program area as assigned by Service Director and or/applicable Assistant Director.
  • Meets productivity requirements as determined by Director
  • Performs other duties and serves on committees as assigned by Service Director and or/applicable Assistant Director.
  • Practices in accordance with APA Ethical Principles regulations of the local jurisdiction HIPAA guidelines and MNRN regulations. Where any apparent conflicts arise regarding adhering to these guidelines/regulations seeks consultation with one's supervisor or department head to resolve appropriately.

USD $102,606.00 - USD $196,996.00 /Yr.
