Job DescriptionSTGi is seeking qualified candidates to work in Washington, DC and potential locations nationwide as a Neurologist.
Minimum duties may include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
- Performing a variety of diagnostic measures in order to diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the nervous system.
- Providing consultant opinion on medical clearance for employees with neurological medical conditions who work in arduous and/or hazardous federal jobs;
- considering employees' ability to safely and efficiently perform their duties;
- determining case-by-case basis using medical history, medical examination results from a general physical examination, and additional medical information provided;
- testifying in court or at a deposition to support prior medical decision on whether employee is medically safe to perform their job duties.
Required Experience- Requires a degree in medicine from a medical or osteopathic school accredited either by the Liaison Committee on medical Education (MD) or the American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (DO).
- Board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Neurology, licensed physician.
- Two years' experience clinical practice specializing in neurology.
