We are seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the
Neurological Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for an RN with a strong acute care background, including significant experience caring for neurological patients and patients experiencing seizures.
Position Details- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Position: Full-time RN
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts
- Weekends & Holidays: As needed
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university
Experience- At least 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience in Medical-Surgical care
- Strong experience in neurological care and seizure management required
Certifications- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Licensure- Valid nursing license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
