Job Summary

The Network Supply Planner is responsible for balancing and optimizing supply plans to meet service levels and cost targets. The Network Supply Planner serves as the link between commercial team and S&OP by collaborating with demand planning, plant leadership, and other key functional stakeholders. This includes defining and implementing supply planning process, determining priorities, driving process improvements, and active participation in S&OE and supply review.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accountable for developing and maintaining a valid end to end supply network plan for assigned manufacturing sites- both short term and long term views.
  • Accountable for developing what-if supply scenarios and develop recommendations in response to actual or anticipated changes in demand or supply, continuously improve performance relating to both service levels and total costs thru continuous evaluation of supply, outsourcing strategies, product strategies and the positioning of inventory across the network.
  • Communicate decisions and supply impacts to all stakeholders, escalation and prioritization of supply responses around all issues and opportunities impacting customer service
  • Identify, analyze, resolve emerging and projected Supply challenges for timely mitigation. Gather relevant information and levers and develop compelling fact-based assessments and recommendations for Senior Leader forums decision when necessary.
  • Lead / participate in cross functional projects such as packaging changes, new product launches, seasonal event Planning, etc. to develop, manage and communicate a timeline and supply plan.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or an equivalent functional area or equivalent relative experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of corporate or manufacturing supply planning and or Supply Chain experience in a related industry.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally, work in a team environment and collaborate with internal process partners.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills and ability to communicate across teams at various levels.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with understanding and experience with ERP Supply Chain Planning software a plus.
  • APICS or other Supply Chain / Logistics Certification a plus.
  • Self-directed and possess a sense of urgency.
  • Meets deadlines and work under pressure, with limited supervision.
