Network Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA. Clearance Required: Secret. Employment Type: Full-Time.
Responsibilities
- Design and support LAN, WAN, intranet, and other data communications networks.
- Perform network modeling, analysis, planning, and troubleshooting.
- Support secure network architectures across WDP environments.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to reliability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot network incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and support preventative measures.
- Implement and maintain network security measures in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
- Support network integration across development, test, integration, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance required prior to onboarding.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting computer networks, network architecture, network engineering, or related infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, routing, switching, network architecture, and data communications technologies.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government environments.
- Experience supporting classified or highly secure network environments.
- Experience with cloud-connected or hybrid network architectures.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, automation, or configuration management.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission-critical network environments.
