Hiring Range: $80,204.80- $104,270.40
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Configure and support enterprise network devices including routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN technologies, load balancers, and network management systems.
- Administer and optimize local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), wireless networks, internet connectivity, and remote access technologies.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues affecting system reliability, availability, and security.
- Lead network troubleshooting efforts and serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.
- Develop, maintain, and implement network architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, equipment replacements, and infrastructure expansion projects.
- Configure and maintain network security controls including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, network segmentation, and access controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, server, application, and clinical teams to ensure secure and efficient delivery of technology services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency, performance, and security.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, configuration standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support cloud networking initiatives and integration with Microsoft Azure and other hosted platforms.
- Assist in budgeting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure assets.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
- Mentor Network Technicians and provide technical guidance on projects and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements and organizational security standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None. May provide technical leadership and mentoring to Network Technicians and other IT staff.
Education, Training & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field preferred. Associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible network engineering experience preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments in a healthcare setting preferred.
Certifications / Licensure:
- Certified Network Professional certification is preferred.
- Valid New York State Driver's License required.
