ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We are seeking a versatile, mission-focused Network & Systems Infrastructure Engineer with expertise across network security, enterprise storage, and infrastructure management. In this critical, hands-on role, you will maintain, secure, and document robust network and server environments supporting high-stakes operations. You will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA firewalls, managing NetApp storage systems, administering SafeNet hardware security modules, and maintaining switch infrastructure across Arista and network environments. Managing tasks and incidents through Jira, you will ensure optimal performance, baseline compliance, and clear architectural visualization using Visio to keep complex systems resilient and dependable.
The annual base salary range for this role is $144,000-$171,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Network Security & Firewalls: Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cisco ASA firewalls and enforcing network security policies.
Routing & Switching Infrastructure: Solid expertise in configuring and managing enterprise network switches and routers, including Arista and Cisco platforms.
Storage Administration: Experience managing and provisioning enterprise storage solutions, specifically NetApp architectures.
Hardware Security & Authentication: Familiarity with SafeNet Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) or encryption/key management solutions.
Infrastructure Operations & Ticketing: Daily operational use of Jira for tracking technical workflows, incident management, and task prioritization.
System Documentation & Topology: Proficiency using Microsoft Visio to design, update, and maintain detailed network architecture and system flow diagrams.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or technical analysis OR Master's Degree in a related field, PLUS 6+ years of professional experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 10+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Advanced Firewall & Threat Management: Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and intrusion detection/prevention mechanisms.
Automation & Scripting: Familiarity with Python, Bash, or Ansible to automate routine network configuration updates and monitoring tasks.
Cross-Platform Systems Exposure: Basic Linux/Windows server administration capabilities to complement core networking duties.
