Job Description

ECS is seeking a Network Engineer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's enterprise network operations and cybersecurity initiatives. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Perform performance analysis and troubleshooting to resolve network issues under senior guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and configuration management controls.
  • Analyze network performance metrics to support incident resolution and infrastructure changes.
  • Coordinate with team members to maintain secure and reliable network connectivity.
  • Support the integration of routing and switching services within the enterprise network.
  • Adhere to operational directives and cybersecurity policies during engineering activities.


Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
  • Education: Bachelors in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering within DoD or Federal IT environments.
  • Experience with network configuration updates and performance monitoring in large-scale environments.
  • Proven ability to support incident resolution and coordinate infrastructure changes.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity policies and STIG requirements for network engineering.
