Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! As a Network Engineer II, you will enhance your expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex network systems. Your role will involve greater responsibility for implementing network solutions, handling escalated issues, and ensuring robust security protocols. You will work closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders to support the organization's networking needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement complex network solutions, including Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), and wireless networks.
  • Document network architecture and configurations.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
  • Provide tier-2 support for network incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor network performance using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks and optimize efficiency.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
  • Ensure network compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
  • Generate and present reports on network performance, incidents, and trends.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to network infrastructure and processes.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • A deep understanding of network protocols and services [e.g., Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)].
  • Proficiency with networking switching equipment and systems.
  • Proficiency with wireless and VPN implementations.
  • Familiarity with AI in troubleshooting network issues.
  • Strong experience with networking equipment.
  • Experience supporting a corporate network, maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), providing support to corporate IT departments.
  • Basic understanding of firewall principles and maintenance.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • Experience with Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of network security practices and tools.
  • Experience with Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with a wide variety of network related tools, concepts, technologies, best practices and security procedures.
  • Hands-on expertise with network hardware, protocols, and media including but not limited to Fiber Optics and Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP).
  • Hands-on experience with network automation platforms.
  • An understanding of zero trust networking principles.


Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly.
  • Work primarily at a computer for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hand/finger dexterity for computer work.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • The ability to participate in afterhours on-call duties.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $74,581.13 - $102,549.04. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
