The Northrop Grumman’s CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a
Network Engineer to work on exciting new next generation technologies and their rapid deployment to end users. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at either our
El Segundo, CA or
Aurora, CO location.
Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Applicants are encouraged to apply, only if they are willing to work on-site.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Design and develop network architectures
• Perform network hardware and software integration and testing
• Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams and specifications
• Trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance
This position may filled at a higher level based on the qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Master's Degree in a STEM field with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree in STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience
Must have a Security+ certification or greater
Candidates must have a current US Government Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
Extensive experience with Cisco device and associated enterprise software solution installation, configuration, administration, and management across routers, switches and firewalls
Experience and knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, VRF creation and maintenance, VPN configuration, IPsec tunnel configuration and management, IP schema definition, subnetting, VLANs and routing protocols
Hands-on experience and knowledge of L1 thru L6 networking
Experience with crypto and COMSEC including configuring HAPIEs, key loading and management

Master's Degree in a STEM field with 6 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree in STEM field with 8 years of relevant experience
Must have a Security+ certification or greater
Candidates must have a current US Government Top Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
Extensive experience with Cisco device and associated enterprise software solution installation, configuration, administration, and management across routers, switches and firewalls

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Network Engineering
Active TS/SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access would be nice to have
Understanding of network automation scripting using Ansible, Python, Bash and/or Shell
Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and their associated networking solutions (e.g. NSX)

Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
